Paulo Coelho: The Alchemist

The gist of the plot could be summarised in a half page anecdote, but that's not the main thing... the essence of the road is less about occurrences and more about the messages transmitted by the environment. It is bold to follow our dreams, however, this is the only way that brings gratification to the soul, suggests Coelho. He also advises us to open our eyes and take a real look around, the way to establish harmony with the world is to understand it. What a pity, that most of the things to learn is hidden in big cities, or an entirely different story is told, just as concrete hides the earth which it covers.
Initially I was a bit concerned that the book would be too abstract... contrarily, Coelho is a real storyteller, I warmly recommend this book.
