Daniel Keyes: Flowers for Algernon

I've read this novel countless times. Craving for something better, people are looking for redeeming solutions, but these are never simple. Let's take a scientist who invents a possible method for increasing human intelligence. The story is presented from the point of view of the "guinea pig", the book lives, it is gripping. There are many messages and questions: the responsibility of science, the necessity to find ourselves, the commandment of tolerance and understanding, and much, much more. I warmly recommend it.
